CELEBRATING THE CRAFT
May 19,
2012 at 6:00 pm -12:00 am, EDT This
celebration of the Scottish Rite will be similar to a telethon but broadcast
over the internet on May 19th. Our Web Event will pay tribute to Freemasonry
with entertainment, celebrities, humor, and educational programming. Our
host will be Ill. Norm Crosby, 33°. It will be broadcast through the
Scottish Rite web site at www.scottishrite.org. Donations can be made
on-line, by calling our web event toll free number during the event at
1-855-289-4200 or a $10 donation can be made by texting HOT to 50555.
For
donations made online or called in during the Web Event, 50% of the net
proceeds will benefit the Rebuilding the Temple Campaign to restore the
House of the Temple and 50% will benefit Orient and/or Valley 501(c)3
organizations.
-
Mark May 19th on your calendar.
- Plan on watching with your Valley or at home.
- Let all of your Masonic friends know about the Web Event and its importance.
- Plan on making a gift to help us preserve and restore the House of the Temple and also benefit your Orient.
- Donations can be made
online, by text, by phone, and on Facebook. Throughout the broadcast we
will give up to the minute updates. If every member made just a $5
contribution we would hit our goal of $1 million.
Remember, Each Valley will receive credit for the
amount of funds collected in your Valley and 50 percent of the funds
collected will go to the Scottish Rite Foundation of Florida.

Think Green! Sign up for Electronic Delivery of the Tampa Scottish Rite Bulletin
We are initiating a pilot program to offer electronic delivery of the bi-monthly Tampa Scottish Rite Bulletin. Initially, those choosing to receive the bulletin via electronic delivery will continue to receive the mailed printed version; however, if the program proves to be popular we will remove those who choose to continue with electronic delivery from the mailing list, thus providing the Valley considerable cost reduction (as well as saving a few trees!).
If you would like to participate in this pilot program, you can sign up via our regular “Newsletter” signup page. Click on the “Tampa eNews/eNews Signup” link on the left side of this page and then click on the “Electronic Delivery of Bulletin” checkbox, and then the “Submit” button.
If you are already a newsletter subscriber, you can click on the "Change email address / Leave mailing list" link at the bottom of the next newsletter to reach the signup page.
If you are already a subscriber, and wish to use the “Tampa eNews/eNews Signup” link on the left side of this page, be sure to use the same email address to which you are presently receiving the newsletter, unless you want to receive the bulletin at a different email address.
When the next bulletin becomes available, you will receive an email with links to allow you to download the bulletin in PDF form, or to view it directly on our on-line bulletin archive site.
